The director of a U.S. Investment Bank was killed instantly yesterday (date) when his car smashed into a utility pole in Pasir Panjang, throwing him through the windshield to land some 20 feet away. Two nearby pedestrians were also injured.

John Frazier, 47, A United States citizen, was driving southeast on Pasir Panjang Road at about 5 p.m when he lost control of the car on a wet road. He had been driving about 20 mph over the speed limit without a seatbelt when the incident occurred.

Frazier was the Asia Pacific director of U.S. investment bank Hogawny Flinch. He leaves behind a wife and two daughters.

This is the fourth such accident to happen on this stretch of road in the past eight months. This, however, is the first fatality in the area since 1997.

The first exercise

Hello.

I'm Kenneth and this is my blog, the latest in a long series of abortive attempts to establish an online presence.

Here's to its longevity though. *drinks beer*

My day job? Check this out: Stomp

Much of my day revolves around keeping the site updated with material, contributed by the public.

My favourite time-wasting site has to be this one. Funny in a sly way, definitely a good read on the go. Not always suitable for women.

The best drink on the planet has to be Strongbow Cider by the way. Mixed with a nice light summer beer it turns into the very satisfying concoction known as Snakebite.

I need one now.
